‘Six Senses with love’ is a series of in-resort experts and experiences, streamed into people’s homes all through the lockdown. From anti-ageing and home spa tips to meditations, cooking classes, beautiful videos of manta rays from the ocean off the islands they are located on, and quirky content like how to wash a camel (Oman), the video content offers various ways in which wellness can be made part of people’s lives by emphasizing the role that food, nature and other therapies play.

Mark Sands, Vice President – Wellness says, “Besides running these online videos, we have been hosting zoom sessions on meditation, yoga and fitness with some cool instructor-led high-intensity classes. We talk to them about how to keep their morale boosted and work on their immunity through rest, good food, exercise and meditation. These campaigns, videos and sessions help us maintain a connect with our guests and reach out to those who have never stayed with us so that when they begin travelling again, they think about us.”

He is quite certain that the wellness segment of hospitality will do well once the world reopens. “People want to experience relaxing massages, want the hands-on experience from what our surveys and research have indicated and from the queries we receive from guests.”

#AtHomeWithSixSenses campaign is built around the brand’s key wellness pillars: mindfulness, eat, sleep, move, live naturally and connect. From shamanic meditations to immune-boosting recipes, workouts and a 10-week Junior Marine Biology program, content is as rich as it is varied.

As part of the #AtHomeWithSixSenses, the wellness retreat has launched a ‘Friends of Six Senses’ programme, where they invite leading lights from the world of wellness and healing to help people logging in, to deep dive into different aspects of wellness.

Six Senses is a global hospitality group with resorts and spas properties across the Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East, with a sharp focus on wellness and luxury spa experience.
