The University and its constituent Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) have forged ties with several worldwide sports governing bodies for encouraging sporting activities in both Odisha and across the country. FIFA, for example, has selected KISS as the nodal agency for the promotion of football in schools in Odisha and other parts of the country.
